This is my version of Yann Tiersen’s  La valse d’Amelie & Comptine d’Un Autre Été  from one of the best film productions of all time - Le fabuleux destin d’Amelie poulain directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. I play comptine in a faster tempo and varied the pitches to my liking. Enjoy ~

No, More like prophet letters in dying flowers, Flying down weighing your breathing spaces,  Awake ! Awake ! inside dreaming phases,  Between ballerina funeral symphonies & Harry partch clockwork laces, Reality speeches intertwining contrapuntal harps in sevenths, Open the multi-colored courtains of the soul’s reign, Let the elation in sun rays walk on in, Descartes was moving the knights of your board, When you questioned of everything whole & torned, Crepuscular eyes that open in transic realms are like the posies a lover granted me in a thought, In a meadow surrounded with broken temples, When a firefly spelled the words in the sky & the crows in wires positioned the notes to a fleeting despair song, When stepping on promised lands, Moons, the smiling moons laughed & fell on broken hands, The ones that built a fortress & an illusory crown for The head that ate an eternity psychosis pie,  with disproportianate, insatiable apetite, In childhood bells between reveries, Under red trees with white cherry leaves, Were woven in miniature roots before the books, Before in lullabys tucked in by Venus, In days of yore Cinderella’s mice & Steinbeck’s men, With a grateful heart & witness birds I sang, I held no key before the body no provenance vines, That snowed sweetly the endowment of my life, With this ink and paper this baker makes its slice of paradise.

There’s a strange man that hangs out on 5th ave

He likes to yell at fire hydrogens & sometimes he punches & kicks them too

I hear he’s been sleeping in a deep dark tunnel

When he talks to himself now, all you hear is echoes of echoes of echoes of echoes of his own sound

Hello hello hello hello hello hello hello.. you’re sleeping underground

Well when he comes out he likes to go to the park

Where the chocolate soxophone man plays thoose old ragged blues and thoose Miles David Tunes

So he gets inspired & starts quarreling with trees, about philosophies

& his own helplessness existence, The expanding universe makes him feel like a mouse

He ain’t got no dollar bills in his pockets & these days even the birds have more bread to munch

He’s running out of time, running out of time, running out of crimes, running out of crimes

Running out of clothes, running out of clothes, running out of dimes, running out of dimes

I think I’m running out of rhymes

The old souls between the leaves tell him all you have is your time & your hands

No one to please but yourself, no one but the wind to guide you, No one but yourself to find you

Thoose soles on your shoes made out of old beat up tires are all that will hold you through this long road alone

So let me sleep because hey I’m getting old
